The deluge of rain has ended and now winds will kick up to as high as 30 mph or more in places. As the front passes through temperatures should drop to about 45 degrees by late afternoon.

This weather station picked up 2.21 inches of rain from the storm. Many areas have standing water this morning.
Sunshine with a few passing clouds should return on Saturday when high temperatures are expected to again reach the mid 40’s…not bad for February.
Speaking of February, we are a week into the month and still have not recorded a temperature at or below freezing. In fact we are averaging 12.3 degrees above normal. Unbelievable!
