It is possible that the Salisbury area can receive a month’s worth of rain between now and noon on Friday. Rain should persist throughout the day today and become quite heavy overnight into Friday morning. Winds will increase in intensity by tomorrow morning and embedded thunderstorms are also possible. Isolated areas will receive a considerable drenching of rain with localized flooding possible. Many of us can expect 2 to 3 inches of rain at a minimum.

Our unusually warm February will continue into the next week. As of this morning we have yet to see the temperature dip below 35 degrees. That puts a damper on the wishes of those of us wanting to see a snowfall.
Today’s high temperature should reach the mid 60’s and Friday should hit about 60.
