Today’s morning rain will be followed by scattered afternoon showers. Moderate to heavy rain will return by evening and continue off and on (mostly on) all day Thursday and into Friday morning. The National Weather Service tells us to expect 2 to 3 inches of rain, at a minimum, prior to the passing of the precipitation early on Friday. Can you imagine if this was snow?

Today’s temperatures will be about 10 degrees cooler than yesterday, in the mid 50’s. As the rain intensifies warmer air will be pumped up from the south and temps will return to the mid 60’s on Thursday.
