Today will give us lots of sun and a few passing clouds with temperatures remaining tn the upper 40’s. Temps will remain nearly steady as clouds increase tomorrow.
A large storm system is still in the process of building across the southern plains and is expected to intensify once it nears the southeast coast towards the end of the week. The exact track of the storm, as always, is unpredictable this far ahead, however, it is becoming increasingly more likely that we will not see a winter storm on Delmarva.
So, am I saying that it won’t be stormy? Well, if you want stormy you have a better chance of bumping into Stormy Daniels herself at the express aisle in Food Lion than you have of seeing snow on Delmarva thia weekend!
So, what happens if I’m wrong? I will go to DC and make snow angels on the White House lawn with Nancy Pelosi and Alan Dershowitz!
If the storm system tracks close to the coast we will see some wind and rain with snow well inland. If the storm tracks well off the coast, as the historically accurate Euro Model indicates then we may see nothing at all. You can initialize the run of that model below.
The beginning of next week seems like it will continue to offer above average temperatures until perhaps a late week plunge of cold air finally envelops our area.
