It was three months ago today, September 29, that the Baltimore Ravens last lost a football game. About an hour after the Ravens were defeated by the Cleveland Browns the Baltimore Orioles lost their last game of the season to the Boston Red Sox. That means that the last time a team from a major sports league in Baltimore lost a game, it was the baseball team! The Ravens haven’t lost in 3 months.
The way the Ravens have been playing it is beginning to look as though the Orioles may lose 100 games before the football team suffers another defeat! Time will tell.
The weather is much more predictable. We reached 85 degrees in Salisbury on September 29 of this year when both Baltimore teams lost.
We will be close to 30 degrees cooler than that September day three months ago. Mid 50’s, however, this late in the year is probably fine with everyone although it will fall short of yesterday’s lovely 64 degrees.
Clouds will be on the increase and light showers may develop by the afternoon. Showers could linger into Monday when the mercury will climb back into the mid 60’s.
By all appearances we appear to be headed to the end of the year with another warmer than average month in December. The first week of January is likely to be warmer than average as well.
