There are still signs of summer as seen in this image of a coneflower indicates.
We received some much needed rain last night, but we still need more. I think we will get it on Wednesday.
In the meantime, today should give us temps in the mid 70’s, followed by a Tuesday with temperatures in the low 70’s. When Wednesday arrives we should see a welcomed drenching rain, perhaps with some thunderstorms. It may lead to the most substantial rainfall we’ve seen in nearly two months. The last time we recorded over an inch of rain was on August 20.
