Goodbye 90’s!

The long awaited cold front that offers us a respite from the muggy August heat has passed through the area bringing lower humidity and temperatures in the lower 80’s.  It also brings with it a good chance of scattered thunderstorms to quench the thirst of our summer flowers.

The refreshing air will remain as our welcomed guest for the entire weekend ahead where we will see high temperatures near 80 degrees.  Some places may top out in the upper 70’s.

Next week promises below average temperatures until at least mid week.  When it finally warms up later next week we will be seeing average August temps with highs averaging about 86 degrees.

In short, families should have some nice days remaining to enjoy each other’s company before the new school year begins for most of Delmarva.
