There is a good possibility that most of us will see some prolific thunderstorm activity late this afternoon and tonight. Storms are likely to include heavy downpours in isolated areas. There are indications that much of the area will be measuring their rainfall in inches. Some forecasters, in fact, are suggesting that we could pick up 3 inches or more of rain in some spots by tomorrow morning. Hail and damaging winds are also possible.
