There is a lot going on in news and entertainment this week. “Rocketman” opened in theaters, while “Rocketman”, the North Korean leader, was accused of executing members of his team for failing to reach a successful agreement regarding nuclear weapons with the United States. President Trump visits London, calls the Duchess of Sussex “nasty” and meets Queen Elizabeth.
Meanwhile, back at home, where the number one movie is “Godzilla”…..drum roll please! “Jeopardy” host Alex Trebeck’s pancreatic cancer is in apparent remission, and the streak of James Holzhauer’s victories has come to an end just one victory shy of the legendary Ken Jennings’ win total.
Life, as is the weather, is oftentimes unpredictable. Just when you think you have things figured out it all changes. I mean, just a couple of days ago, who among us would have dreamed that we’d be waking up in the 40’s this morning? 40 degree temperatures in June doesn’t happen around here very often. What’s next? How about a return to the upper 80’s!
Today should be nice and sunny with temperatures in the mid 70’s. That is unless I do not have things all figured out! Wednesday should see things warm up into the 80’s with a good chance of late day thunderstorms, placing our short streak of nice days in jeopardy!
