Mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the low 80’s will greet us today for the “unofficial” first day of summer. This follows last night’s brief passing of thunderstorms that dropped just .16 inches of rain at this blog’s weather station.
While the summer solstice will not occur for three more weeks the weekend leading up to Memorial Day has traditionally been the time when weather begins to cooperate with people and their outdoor plans.
There are many great food options to enjoy on Delmarva aside from the traditional backyard barbecue. I’ll highlight a few of the options over the long weekend ahead as we look forward to weather conditions that will help us enjoy ourselves.
Today, in addition to predicting nice weather, I’m going to predict that many a crab that begins the day blue will end the day a steamy red!
