I am backing off from my 90 degree prediction that I was leaning towards earlier in the week, but it will still be rather toasty on Delmarva today and again on Monday. A stray shower or storm is always possible in weather like this, but the probability is not considered to be high.
Just as I am about to make this post, however, Mother Nature reminds us that she is in charge. The radar picture at 5 AM shows what I mean.
The early morning storm has already dumped close to three quarters of an inch of rain in the Salisbury area. When the rain finally stops we can begin our warm up for the afternoon. Monday appears as though it will be even toastier than today with highs approaching 90 degrees.
