Today will be a partly cloudy but fairly warm day on Delmarva.  Get used to the clouds as they will increase in thickness and stick around through the weekend and into Monday.

Showers may develop by Saturday afternoon and transition into a steady rain that is expected to put a damper on any outdoor plans you may have for Mother’s Day.  If that is not enough, temperatures will also drop below normal for the entire weekend and Monday as well.  Expect to see highs in the upper 60’s to near 70 degrees on Saturday and in the low 60’s on Sunday.

Here’s one more bummer.  We may not see the sun again until Tuesday and, by the time we do, many of us will pick up close to 2 inches of rain.
