Delmarva will be wet today as rain and thundershowers should arrive by the afternoon. There are indications that some of the storms may contain heavy rain and damaging winds. I would take this system seriously!

Some places on Delmarva will experience quite nasty storms particularly during the evening and overnight hours. What makes this such a nasty scenario is that warm and humid air will be the norm for the first part of the day. This increase in saturated air will become disturbed by the clashing cold air that will arrive late today. The mix of hot and humid air, together with the cold, is a sign of bad things.

The passing front bringing the rainfall will provide us with a somewhat windy and cooler day on Saturday with high temperatures returning to the 60’s..
