This is NOT an April Fool’s prank! Be on the lookout Tuesday for a powerful low pressure system that is forming off of the southeastern coast and is expected to head up the coast before heading out to sea. Areas south of us will certainly be pounded with rain, wind, and heavy surf.
While coastal areas of Delmarva are certain to see strong winds and heavy surf there is still some uncertainty as to how much, if any, rain we are likely to see. Whenever you’re flirtin’ with something you better keep your eyes open and be prepared for anything.
If the storm does indeed head up the coast then interior portions of the northeast will see some heavy spring snow. We will not be seeing snow, but we have the potential for some late day rain.
