What a difference a day makes!  Yesterday’s chilly wintry mix is behind us and today offers mostly cloudy skies with highs near 60 degrees.  Lingering showers are moving off the coast this morning.

Enjoy today as clouds and cooler weather returns for Friday.  Rain, of course, returns for Saturday.

The long range forecast does not foresee any more extended periods of wintry cold weather.  In fact, all signs are pointing to a warmer than average period through the remainder of February and into March.  Even though we flirted with a snow storm yesterday the month of February is running 2.6 degrees above normal with a week to go.
