Salisbury MD

A cold and wet day lies ahead.

While the Winter Weather Advisory officially remains in effect until 7 AM most of the temperatures in the Salisbury area remain just above freezing.  At 5 AM this morning the freeze line is located near Laurel, DE.

Light to moderate rain should persist throughout the day on Delmarva with temperatures in the 30’s to near 40 degrees.  Tonight will stay above freezing and showers could become more intermittent before becoming a steadier and heavier rainfall on Tuesday.

Rain will end early on Wednesday, leading to some sunshine and highs near 50 degrees.  The remainder of the week will be mild with no severe weather in sight this week.

Next week may bring another story!
