Weather more typical of February returns today with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid to upper 30’s. Some of us will be shocked after experiencing temperatures more than 4 degrees above average thus far for the month.
Clouds will increase during the day on Sunday. We’ll need to keep a close eye on evening tempertures as light rain is expected to fall after midnight. Salisbury will be near the 32 degree freezing line so it is not out of the question that we could see some freezing rain or even light snow into Monday morning. Tomorrow should offer more clarity.
Regardless of the conditions on Monday morning all of the precipitation is nearly certain to transition into an all day rain event. Rain is then expected to last through Tuesday as temps warm back up into the 50’s.
