Our area will miss out on a really big storm this weekend as the warm air containing the moisture rushes in from the south prior to the cold arctic blast.
Today’s weather will be OK with highs pushing 50 degrees. Clouds will overtake the area on Saturday and rain will develop late. That’s when the fun begins!
We’ll see a warm rain on Sunday followed by a dramatic plunge in temperatures. Rarely do we see temperatures drop 50 degrees in one day, but that may very well happen by Sunday evening. If there is any moisture left over it will certainly turn to snow on the back end. At this point in time that is a big “if”.
