Snow lovers on Delmarva hate it when a snowstorm coming from the south does not quite make it to our area.  If you are one of those people you will hate today!

The area of high pressure dominating our weather is prohibiting the storm system from inching northward.

Our friends in interior sections of Virginia and North Carolina will experience a mixed bag of heavy snow, sleet, ice, and freezing rain.  I’m not so sure any of us really want that.

We will see lots of clouds today with high temperatures in the upper 30’s.  It will be one of those chilly gray days where it looks like it could snow at anytime, however, it is more likely that it will not.

Most weather models are indicating that we could see a period of light rain this afternoon and into the evening.  I did not see that possibility a day or two ago.
