In a TV speech on this date in 1973 President Richard Nixon exclaimed to the nation, “I am not a crook!”  Less than 9 months later he resigned rather than face impeachment proceedings that likely would have declared him a crook.

Another president was quoted as saying, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman” and another keeps repeating that “there is no collusion.”  Well, “the buck stops here!”  I only know what I think I know.

Today I declare that I am thinking that I am not a weatherman!  I just want to be one when I grow up!

The weekend weather should be sunny on Saturday and partly cloudy on Sunday with temperatures in the low 50’s.  The week leading up to Thanksgiving will be dry.  So will my wit.  I hope that your turkey is not!
