The image above from 5 AM today shows how the cold air is already on the western side of the Chesapeake Bay.
Showers will linger in the area but gradually diminish as the day wears on ahead of an approaching cold front that will usher in more cold air for Wednesday. In fact, we will probably reach our high temperature for the day this morning before they begin to plunge into the 40’s this afternoon.
Tomorrow should be 15 to 20 degrees colder than today under partly cloudy skies..
Expect another chilly rain for Thursday with windy conditions. Currently, the weekend looks to be cool but dry.
