President Harry S. Truman signed the United Nations Charter on behalf of the United States of America on this date in 1945…two days after dropping an atomic bomb on Hiroshima and the day before dropping another atomic bomb on Nagasaki.  It was apparently a busy week!  I’m sure you’re busy too.  I hope the weather cooperates.
