In the evening hours on July 20, 1969 Neil Armstrong became the first man to set foot on the moon.  People all over the planet were glued to their televisions to watch the historic event.

Since the moon has no atmosphere temperatures during the day can soar to 260 degrees while at night dip to a chilly -280 degrees.  Being a meteorologist on the moon would be the easiest job in the universe.  There is no weather!  Here is a look at our earthly weather conditions for today.

The weather pattern will change drastically overnight into Saturday with copious amounts of rain.  It appears as though rainfall could be extremely heavy.  Chances of storms look to be good for the next few days.
