I’ve had a life long love affair with baseball. That makes today, Opening Day in Major League Baseball, as special to me as Christmas and New Year’s Eve are to most. There is something special about a game with no clock that is truly never over until it’s over.
Last spring, as pictured above, the Baltimore Orioles celebrated a Mark Trumbo home run in the bottom of the 11th inning, that gave them an Opening Day victory over the Toronto Blue Jays in Baltimore.
What will the weather hold for the Baltimore Orioles today? How about temperatures in the 70’s! Having a few clouds around is a small price to pay for springlike warmth. I’ll take it and I bet you will, too.
Fun Fact: The average Opening Day temperature at Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore is 58.6 degrees! Play ball!
Enjoy today. Friday will be back in the 60’s.
