St. Patrick’s Day seems like an appropriate time to tout the wonders of green screen technology as it relates to weather forecasting on TV.
Here is an amazing fact about our weather that we’ve experienced lately. Today is the 17th day of March and the highest temperature we’ve recorded is 55 degrees. We had 17 days in February with highs of 55 degrees or above! Are things backward, or what?
Today offers up showers and continued chilly temperatures. Sunday looks relatively pleasant compared to what we’ve had lately.
It still appears likely that we’ll see the effects of a 4th winter storm from sometime overnight Monday into Wednesday. Precipitation is likely to begin as rain before a switch to a rain/snow mix and then probably snow towards the end. I will post updates as the event approaches.
