The “Ides of March” is referenced by William Shakespeare in ‘Julius Caesar“. The quick version of the story is that Caesar was betrayed by his BFF Brutus and a few other of his friends and stabbed to death 23 times. Oh wait! He didn’t die 23 times. He was stabbed 23 times.
