Today is likely to be the nicest day of the week. Could mixed sun and clouds with temperatures pushing 50 degrees represent the calm before the storm? The answer to that will come at some point tomorrow evening.
Light rainfall should arrive on Monday with chilly temperatures in the low 40’s. As temperatures fall during the day on Monday rain will mix with and probably change to snow. If the changeover to snow occurs after dark then Salisbury could pick up about half an inch of snow or so.
Snowfall during daylight hours with the high sun angle we endure in March makes it nearly impossible for snow to not melt on contact with surfaces. I will make a post later this afternoon that updates the rain/snow scenario.
