Today, I honor my late aunt, Nancy, who taught me to dance as a kid!
April 4, 1944 – March 10, 2014
Mostly sunny skies rule again today with high temperatures in the mid 40’s. We sure could use an old fashioned jitterbug to get spring started!
It appears as though I misjudged the timing of this weekend’s precipitation. The storm system has remained to the south and will slip, much more slowly, off the coast. Hence, the warm air arrives on Delmarva prior to the bulk of the precipitation. Consequently, we will see a dry Sunday with rain arriving on Monday.
Rain could possibly mix with and change to snow into Monday night. With most of the precipitation occurring during daylight hours the high March sun angle will inhibit any accumulation of snow. This now means that the bulk of our weekend will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with temperatures in the mid to upper 40’s.
